A big step
for your career
"During my last internship, my student:
• worked for a
campaign during Ed Sheeran's concert
• completed the
branding for an international client
• organized and managed
an Art Exhibition at the City Hall.
She's wasn't even 19.
– Daniel Salvi.
If you’re a student of design or communication,
at least in your second year of university,
you’ve likely realized three unexpected truths:
-
You thought you’d learn everything you needed at university… but ended up spending hours on online tutorials instead.
-
You expected professors to guide you step-by-step in creating communication projects… but you were left to figure it out yourself, deciphering their often cryptic and contradictory feedback during reviews.
-
You imagined creating projects that had real-world utility… only to quickly realize they’d remain mere concepts, doomed to gather dust in your portfolio.
In no time, you’ve come to understand that university isn’t teaching you many of the skills you need to enter the workforce. It’s more focused on theory than practice.
You feel like you’re wasting valuable time.
Isn’t it frustrating? You could be giving your all, but it feels like you’re stuck in low gear, waiting for the moment when you can finally dive into the exciting world of agencies.
For many, working on real projects requires waiting until after their bachelor’s degree—or even their master’s.
And after graduation?
You’ll need to send hundreds of CVs, portfolios, and applications to agencies across Italy or Europe, hoping for a six-month internship with the slim chance of being hired—so you don’t have to start the process all over again.
It shouldn’t be this hard.
We at Daniel Salvi believe that universities hold untapped talent,
ready to become great professionals —if only they had:
-
The right information
-
The right mentor
-
Real, published projects
Wouldn’t you gain an incredible advantage if, upon graduating, you had already experienced the professional world and worked alongside top professionals for major brands?
You’d skip the line, shed that “Junior” title faster, and secure the best projects and a faster, more fulfilling career.
All this is possible with the Daniel Salvi internship.

Work on
high-level projects
"The internship was an invaluable experience for managing high-level work and collaborating with real agencies. What I appreciated the most was the chance to make a difference, even in small ways, in other people’s lives."
– Kimberly
If we could go back to our intern days, we’d choose this Internship.
Why? Because we would have loved being on the frontlines of the kinds of projects our interns now get to work on.
Last time, our interns:
-
Participated in an international communication competition
-
Experienced the thrill of working in a “Design Sprint”
-
Learned web design and copywriting
-
Managed a tech startup project
-
Handled the social media of global organizations
One example? Vatican supports the communication of Colors for Peace, an organization helping children in war-torn countries.
This association holds the High Patronage of the European Parliament and collaborates with RAI per il Sociale, leading Italian TV Network.
Together, we created a testimonial campaign featuring big names like Andrea Pirlo, Carlo Conti, Alessandro Gassman, and leading Italian politicians.
In 2022, we were honored to promote a major solidarity campaign that enabled Colors for Peace to send 21 truckloads of humanitarian aid to Ukraine after the Russian invasion.
Yes, our projects can have that kind of impact.
Selim tells his experience with our agency
Great mentors,
always by your side.
You’ll be guided by Vatican’s senior creative team and the Creative Director.
We’re not joking.
Other agencies put interns in the backseat, supervised by people only slightly more experienced than they are.
At our agency, we know every intern’s name, and we train them to the highest standard.
Our Creative Director will meet with you and your peers every morning to provide personalized feedback to improve your skills.
You’ll also join an instant messaging group where the Creative Director will answer your questions and provide crucial insights throughout your projects.
Say goodbye to being left on your own.
You’ll receive step-by-step guidance.

Packed with dozens of hours of valuable videos, it lets you delve into the profession during your free time.
You’ll find sessions from the first edition of Meetups and all the replays from the new one, so you won’t miss a thing!
If you really like this profession, this will be the website you're going to pass more time on in the next 3 months!
Are you
the right fit?
This journey is phenomenal, but it’s not for everyone.
Over 3 months, we’ll focus entirely on delivering high-quality training.
And usually, this comes at a price.
Our creatives and managers give conferences across Italy; hundreds of people already paid to hear us speak.
We know our training has great value.
If we sold access to this knowledge, it could easily be priced at €1,500 per month.
But we offer it for free—only to our interns.
We only accept people who understand the immense value of this training…
…and who are therefore willing to collaborate with us unpaid, just for the first three months.
This program is perfect for:
-
Those who want to deepen their expertise with high-quality training.
-
Those ready to invest 3 months in their growth.
-
Those who understand the value of this experience far exceeds any initial remuneration.
This program is NOT suitable for:
-
Those seeking immediate pay or who don’t value this training.
-
Those who must financially support their studies with part-time jobs.
-
Those with other part-time commitments preventing full focus on this program.
What happens
after the internship?
If you’re the right fit for us, we’ll know in these 3 months together.
Our goal with this internship is to find people we can trust and assign to our projects.
During the internship, our interns work directly on real client projects.
For us (and our clients), changing teams frequently is a stress we avoid.
We aim to find reliable individuals who can continue working on existing projects and similar new ones.
At the end of the program, you’ll receive:
-
A final feedback meeting with your mentor to highlight your strengths and areas for improvement
-
A certificate of participation
-
A letter of feedback to strengthen your CV
You may also receive an invitation to participate in your first paid commitment with our agency.
If we’ve collaborated well, this internship will just be the beginning of a long partnership.
If we choose separate paths, this experience will have already equipped you with everything you need to quickly find your way in the creative industry.
Most interns who didn’t continue with Daniel Salvi secured Junior or higher positions in less than two months.
With Daniel Salvi's internship, you can only win.

Are there any job opportunities after the internship?First of all: hiring is never automatic. Vatican will spend the first 3 months investing in you and passing you a wealth of information, in order to train you. But this does not mean that, 100% of the time, you will be trained to get to the heart of our projects. Most of the time we offer one-shot or ongoing paid collaborations, in order to continue the apprenticeship relationship and get you fully into the agency fabric. The best way to get a job at Vatican is to give value and be as irreplaceable as possible.
-
Why should I do an unpaid internship?Do you know what investors do for startups? They invest before getting any kind of return. In the same way, we invite our kids to invest in their professional training, dedicating 3 months of their time to acquire all those skills that will then allow them to multiply the value they would initially have had in the job market. We also, in our time, did a free apprenticeship. Why? We knew that the teachings of our mentors would be more valuable than any salary. If we had to sell this course, we would do it for €1500/month. Instead, we give it to our students for free. This is the real value we give back.
-
Can I do a trial period? If you are asking us to do a "trial period" of the "trial period", it means that there is not full conviction that this program is for you. In this case, we advise you not to participate: in fact, we are looking for people who are deeply motivated and sure of wanting to be part of our family. "Do or do not, there is no try" said a famous green alien in the 70s. However, in case you do not like our path, you can always finish at the end of the first or second month!
-
What if I have to stop the internship before 3 months?Every student who joins us does so to stay the full 3 months, but we understand that sometimes life is unpredictable. In case of termination of the collaboration, we require written communication with 5 days' notice. But be careful: when the internship is terminated prematurely, we will not be able to issue any certificate or feedback letter. We allow the collaboration to end naturally at the end of the first and second month of the internship, if necessary. We do not recommend leaving the internship before or after its milestones, because it is less attractive in the eyes of those who will examine your CV, raising questions about the reason for the termination of the relationship. In short: it is better to show yourself to be reliable and capable of dedicating yourself to long-term collaborative relationships.

I have classes in the morning and can't attend the kickoff meetings: what should I do?We understand the problem! Generally speaking, we prefer our guys to be present at the kickoff meetings (usually at 10:00) as much as possible, because these allow them to align themselves optimally and learn from the experiences and mistakes of others. But this does not mean that you will always have to be there: the important thing is at least 3 times out of 5. If you can't even do this, contact Vatican anyway and explain your needs: our job is to create a path modeled on you and your needs.
